Frank Gresley was a Derbyshire landscape painter. He was the son of James, and father of Cuthbert and Harold Gresley, all of whom are well known for their excellent quality watercolours of the Trent Valley, and the hilly landscapes of Derbyshire. He lived and worked in Chellaston near Derby and painted landscapes, particularly on the Trent, around Barrow and Ingleby, He exhibited 9 times at the Nottingham Art Gallery.
