Robert Angelo Kittermaster Marshall Fishing by the River Robert (Roberto) Angelo Kittermaster Marshall was a landscape painter who was born in London in1849. He was the son of Charles Marshall (1806-1890) a landscape and set painter and brother of Charles Marshall Jnr also a landscape artist. He studied art under his father and became highly skilled at landscape drawing, painting views of the Midlands and the Southern and Western Counties. Marshall exhibited at the Royal Academy from 1867 to 1902 and also at the Royal Institute, Royal Society of British Artists, New Watercolour Society and elsewhere. On 18 October 1884, he married Florence Angel (1854-1930) in Islington, London. Later on, they moved to Herstonceaux in Sussex where Marshall died in 1923. sold |
