Giovanni Barbaro was a painter in watercolour of still life and eastern scenes. His subjects were usually of still life mainly fruit, and were usually painted in a long landscape shape. His work appears identical to that of Arthur Dudley, for whom it was probably a pseudonym, and is often seen on the market.
