Charles Gregory Picking Flowers, Corfe Castle Charles Gregory was a painter of genre and historical subjects who was born in London. He exhibited from 1873 at the Royal Academy, Royal Society of Artists, Birmingham, Glasgow Institute and Royal Hibernian Academy. He was elected Associate of the Royal Watercolour Society in 1882 and became a member in 1883. Exhibitions of his work were held in London, Liverpool and Melbourne through various galleries such as the Walker Art Gallery and Dowdeswell Galleries. He lived at Milford, Surrey. Examples of his work can be seen at the Bristol City Art Gallery. sold |
