An excellent George II mahogany Kneehole desk of compact proportions and wonderful original colour and patination. The rectangular top with rounded, moulded edge over a long oak lined cock beaded frieze drawer with original handles. Below, a cupboard compartment bordered either side by three further drawers with canted fluted sides. The whole stands upon a moulded plinth with ogee bracket feet. An elegantly proportioned desk retaining its original colour and patination throughout. C1750.
