A pair of George I elm Side Chairs, of exceptional colour and patination. The top rails above beautifully curved vase-shaped splats. Having drop-in seats within deep seat rails, the chairs are raised on four cabriole legs terminating in pad feet. A wonderful pair of chairs in rare, original condition. C1720.
