Regency Burr Oak Metamorphic
Serving Table

A rare Regency burr oak Metamorphic Serving Table in the manner of Gillows of Lancaster. The rectangular top having a raised back with a central tablet veneered in burr oak flanked by leaf carved scrolls. The top with broad burr oak crossbanding and moulded edge rises to form three shelves. The whole is supported on turned and reeded tapering legs, having leaf form bases standing on platform feet with carved rosettes to the top. The table is of an excellent original colour and patination throughout. C1825.
