Regency Rosewood Console Table

A fine quality Regency rosewood Console Table with brass inlay of excellent colour and patina. The well-figured rectangular top above a frieze with three beaded borders inlaid with brass anthemion design. Having a mirror to the back, flanked by rectangular supports with inset brass moulded decoration. The front is raised on two bold scroll-shaped supports with applied roundals and brass moulding to the front. The table stands on a platform base with carved beaded edge. A beautiful table of compact proportions and of superb colour and patination throughout. C1820.
