A fine quality George II mahogany tea table of excellent proportions retaining its original colour and patina. The mahogany rectangular top with shaped front corners and rounded edge opening to reveal the well figured mahogany interior. Having a single oak lined cock beaded drawer fitted to the frieze retaining its original brass plate handle. The whole is raised on cabriole legs with carved decoration to the tops, terminating in pad feet. A wonderful tea table of compact proportions, in fine original condition. C1740.
